Music Video Shot In The Cotton Mill

I was cruising along looking to see if there were any new videos posted featuring McKinney locations when I put in the search, “McKinney Cotton Mill”.  The Cotton Mill gets used a lot as an artistic backdrop and I often wish I knew more about it.  I found a video by Tim Watson Photography posted about a month ago and added it to my “McKinney Videos” playlist.

YouTube then shows related videos in their sidebar and my attention was drawn to what looked like a music video shot in The Cotton Mill … Blue Condition – Cheap Wine. So I watched it.

It doesn’t credit the location in the video, so I checked out the band’s website and found that there is a listing there thanking Darla Lovett of the McKinney Cotton Mill for her help.  Between that and the fact that it sure looks like the inside of the Cotton Mill, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say it is.   What a neat use for this venue!

This is not a new video.  It was posted in July of last year.  It just took me a while to find it.

Enjoy!
