I just stumbled across a great video for the Farmer’s Market at Chestnut Square. The videographer visits all of the booths in the courtyard at the Chestnut Square Historic Village, talks with the merchants and highlights some of their goods. That peach-jalapeno jelly sounds scrumptious. Usually, Lucky Layla Farms is also just outside the entrance to the Farmer’s Market and there are a few craft vendors across the street in front Dixie’s Store. Most frequently I see a wonderful wood worker with tons of hand carved novelties and a woman who spins yarn from wool and sells the things she crochets from them (might be knitting – I can never be sure). I’ve also seen hand made soaps, bath scents and jewelry in this area.
