Big Benefit Concert at The Cotton Mill May 13th

If you haven’t heard yet, it sounds like there is going to be a huge concert over at the historic Cotton Mill benefiting the Samaritan Inn on the 13th.  They have a neat registration page that currently shows that there is room for 272 more bodies. The band Emerald City will be playing from 8 pm till midnight.

This looked big enough that I looked up the band and found tons of videos.  They’ve played all over Dallas since the 80’s and were the New Year’s Eve entertainment for the Gaylord one year.

They have some great videos but, unfortunately, they can’t be embedded in a blog.

My favorite is their “Rock Medley” where they are singing  a medley of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way”, AC/DC’s “Shook Me All Night Long”, and Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love a Bad Name”.

The tickets are a little pricey at $50 per but it is a benefit concert and the band sounds absolutely fantastic.  To see the videos, check out their web site (you have to scroll all the way down).

Until next time,

Happy Shopping!
