Juan Carlos Cortes of Entertainment Photos (next door to The Garrett Art Gallery) is offering a special package for Easter that comes complete with bunnies. He’ll be taking guests by appointment only on April 7th from 10 AM to 4 PM for a special session with 3 farm bunnies and 1 award-winning floppy ear bunny in a special Easter setting. He will provide prints and digitals and he may even be in a position to adopt out some little bunnies too. It seems that he is expecting a litter of new little bunnies soon and he is open to adopting them out for the day or on a more permanent basis to a good home that is ready to take on the awesome responsibility of caring for a little bundle of Easter joy. These special photo sessions are by appointment only and not at his normal studio (the address he gave is 103 Belden Circle). Please see his website at http://www.ePoof.com or http://www.EntertainmentPhotos.net or give him a call at 972-873-5681.
The Pantry Restaurant will have special hours Easter Sunday. They’ll be open 10 AM till 2 PM and will be serving a special Easter Brunch Buffet in addition to their regular menu. The buffet will include: pancakes, biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage, hashbrown casserole, BBQ brisket, ham, green bean casserole, corn pudding, and desserts.
I recently discovered that Gather in Downtown McKinney just started regularly offering a Sunday brunch a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t been yet, but it’s on my list.
If I hear of more Easter related events on the square, I’ll be sure to pass them along.
Update: I almost forgot. Town Square Buzz has a special Easter promotion going on too. They’ve “hidden” eight Easter eggs in random articles on their sites. Readers who find an egg and click on it may enter to win a 4-person brunch to Ruggeri’s. The contest ends March 31st.
Until next time,
