In keeping with the small town charm and the totally hip, happening vibe down on the square, I am passing along this great letter of introduction for a new fun thing to do downtown. This is certainly a good way to beat the Texas heat!
We are Leslie Booth, Frank Guerra, and Leslie Wright, owners of Wild Brush Studio, located at 110 W. Virginia Ste 200, in the loft upstairs from The Cake Stand. We are a paint party studio, sometimes referred to as a BYOB paint party studio (have a look at our Facebook, we post all the pictures of our clients’ paintings there –http://www.facebook.com/WildBrushStudio). Our clients log on to our website at http://wildbrushstudio.com and register to paint with us. We have hundreds of designs from which to choose or clients can bring in their own design, we’ll show them how to paint it.
They bring whatever they like to sip on and we supply everything else, from the wine glasses to the canvas and paint. Leslie Wright and Frank Guerra are the art teachers at Faubion Middle School and Leslie Booth is the art teacher at Evans Middle School here in McKinney. We’ve been in the loft for several months now and we’re thrilled to say business is really booming for us!
We have people from all over the metroplex come (and from as far away as The Netherlands!) so we’ve been billing McKinney as a hip downtown with a “classy Austin” vibe and are really getting some great comments from folks dining here and perusing the shops, pubs and wineries. We even had a celebrity this last weekend, Stephen Howard, former Spurs and Jazz player and now commentator for ESPN!
We are open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7-9pm. We are so proud to be a part of the downtown McKinney experience!
Thanks so much,
Leslie Booth, Frank Guerra, and Leslie Wright
Until next time,
