A little bird told me …. that the beautiful, recently renovated, red building at the corner of W Virginia and Church street with the vintage gas station outside will soon be occupied by the famous Texan, Dee Lincoln Steak and Burger Bar.
This is exciting news for the Downtown Square and will bring West Virginia street to a whole new level.
The stores close by are very excited about their new neighbor, Andy from the McKinney Wine Merchant says he is very happy to see that side of the square growing and he thinks it will very beneficial to the businesses on West Virginia street.
Dee Lincoln is the Co-founder of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, Dee Lincoln resigned in 2010 after an extremely successful era and the sale of the iconic brand. Lincoln then embarked on a new journey to build her own brand by opening Dee Lincoln’s Tasting Room & Bubble Bar in the new Cowboys Stadium. Shortly thereafter, a second location was opened at Rosewood Court. Lincoln has now made the decision to go back to her roots and do what she does best… with a twist.
With two locations in Plano and Dallas, Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar showcases an approachable menu with updated steakhouse fare and inventive burger recipes in a comfortable and relaxed setting. Dee Lincoln’s name is synonymous with steak, and that expertise is not only showcased in her delicious prime cuts, but also in how she is rethinking the burger.
